Visa application costs for Skilled Independent Migrant Visa Subclass 175
The candidates should pay the applicable visa application charge at the time of filing their visa applications for Skilled – Independent (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 175), as decided by Immigration Australia.
The costs for the General Skilled Migration (GSM) permits depend on the fact if the applications are being filed inside or outside Australia, or if the aspirants hold the citizenship of New Zealand.
Professionals & other Skilled Migrants Visa charges – outside Australia
All fees & charges are duly mentioned in Australian dollars (AUD). In case the aspirants are submitting visa applications from outside the boundaries of Australia, the payment should be in the exchange approve by the Consulate or High Commission or Embassy of Australia, from wherein the application may be being filed by the aspirants.
It’s vital to note that the costs for visa application are evaluated on July 1 on per annum basis, and this could swell the overall costs of a permit. But the same could be suitably adjusted at a given time.
Application Costs for Skilled – Independent (Migrant) visa (subclass 175)
Regulations as laid down by the Department of Immigration & Citizenship of Australia say that the fees must be paid in two installments.
- First installment: $2575 or 148530.6350 Indian rupees
- Second installment: $3575 or 206212.4350 Indian rupees
The first installment of the visa application fees should be paid while filing the application. The second installment of the costs for the filing visa application for the dependents aged 18 years or above, with insufficient practical English language skills, must be paid prior to the time the said permit is offered to the applicants. Second Installment is not payable if the spouse dependents above 18 years, who form part of the application,
appear in and get the desired IELTS score.
Australia Independent (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 175) has been closed with effect from 1st of July, 2012.
